If you have empathy for older people and are caring and reliable: visiting an older person and providing companionship is sure to be an enjoyable and rewarding experience for you as much as it is for the client.

Every client is different, and every volunteer is different. Visits can be spent doing activities such as reading a book together, listening to music, go for a short walk or coffee, board games, having a chat, watching together, crocheting or knitting together craft, arts or whatever you both enjoy doing.
