In Australia, one in 2,500 babies are born with Cystic Fibrosis, that’s one every four days. On average one in 25 people carry the CF gene and most are unaware that they are carriers. Team Simon supports Cystic Fibrosis to raise much needed funds for Cystic Fibrosis support.

We require a team of volunteers to assist us at this fundraising dinner. Volunteers should possess the following attributes:

• All volunteers have to have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination, in order to participate in volunteering activities. Volunteers must adhere to the venue procedures at the time of volunteering, which include check-ins via the Service NSW. We will also require sighting your vaccination certificate upon arrival at your volunteer activity

• Be confident and friendly

• Have the ability to walk up to attendees and sell raffle tickets and collect pledges and silent auction bids

• Be well presented

• Be articulate

Volunteers will be required to:

• Assist in taking payment for silent auction items

• Sell bottles of Scotch (volunteers must be at least 18 years of age)

• Handle card and cash payments, including Eftpos machines

• Dress in Black Tie attire (For women, please wear a black cocktail dress to the knees (not too revealing please). For men, please wear a black suit, white shirt, and black tie.)

All volunteering takes place within COVID safe guidelines.
