Merchandise & Online Shop Manager (Volunteer)

Would you love to be involved with an awesome not-for-profit that’s dedicated to keeping pets and their elderly owners together? We’re looking for a passionate person to manage our POOPS merchandise lines and our online shop, to help increase our visibility and raise funds.

The Role: You’d be responsible for managing the POOPS online store; processing and posting orders; liaising with our Social Media team to promote the store/ products; and researching and aquiring new lines of merchandise. You’d also be responsible for setting up and conducting merchandise sales at events, with the help of other volunteers. The Merchandise Manager works with POOPS’ Marketing Team Leader, the designer, Events Manager, and the IT team.

Experience: Some experience in managing online and retail sales via Square (or similar POS system) would be an advantage, although we’d be happy to train the right person. Admin, retail and computer skills are desirable.

About POOPS POOPS is a WA not-for-profit organisation that has been helping to keep pets and their people together for over a decade. Our 900+ volunteers help seniors and disabled people who can’t afford a paid service with pet care, so they can stay with their pets for as long as possible. Volunteers walk dogs, help with transport to the vet or groomer, and any other related tasks to assist. POOPS is entirely run by volunteers, and services Greater Perth, Busselton, and Preston.
