Uniting Social Support Program keeps people connected to the community to support them to live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love.

Mariam seeks a respectful, accepting, non-judgemental, engaging, social and open minded volunteer to support her and share in some of her interests, including chess, knitting and craft. The selected applicant will be an effective communicator with a willingness to creatively reconnect Mariam with her interests and community.

Visits may involve visiting Mariam* at her home to share coffee and lively conversation. The skills and confidence to work independently are a must.

As a valued member of the Social Support Team, you will have access to ongoing training and development, opportunities to meet new people and develop new skills. You will have support from a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey. You will be volunteering to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice to make an impact in your community. Interested?
