Be the smiling face of The Hub 6163 when we open our doors to the public! We need volunteers to organise our monthly Film Nights, Repair Hubs and once-off workshops throughout the year.

The events coordinator will be closely working with the administrator and marketing & communications coordinator. - Previous experience or relevant current studies in event management - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Relatable, friendly, reliable, well presented - Organised and loves developing relationships.

The Events Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Assisting the development of new events
  • Coordinating event logistics, liaising with other volunteers, suppliers, sourcing items, overseeing ticket sales and responding to enquiries
  • Developing and maintaining the event checklist and run sheet
  • Marketing of each event through social media and other means
  • Ensuring expenses and income are recorded and within budget
  • Set up and break down of equipment on event days
