Volunteer with your musical instrument, Wahroonga dementia aged care home
HammondCare Australia
Share your passion for music as you play your favourite instrument whether it be the piano, harp, guitar or your voice, for elderly residents at HammondCare Wahroonga, a residential aged care home for people living with dementia. We encourage a range of musical styles, from classical to popular hits from the 1930's onwards.
Why HammondCare? Volunteering at HammondCare is a great experience for you, and a great way to make a difference for people in need. You’ll find that as you play music and interact with residents who live with dementia, you’ll improve the quality their lives and yours.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a national police check which HammondCare will organise and pay for. All HammondCare volunteers are required to provide proof of their Covid19 vaccination. We'll provide training and ongoing support.
When you submit your enquiry, please include details on why you're interested in volunteering.
