Volunteer Homework Program Tutor and Team Leader

As a Volunteer Tutor and Team Leader in the Homework Program you will provide a range of educational activities that are age-appropriate for primary and secondary school students. You will assist students to identify what subjects they would like to focus on and direct them to Volunteer Tutors. Your role does include working with small groups of children, and offering assistance/guidance to independent students. You will support staff to monitor the room to ensure that it is safe for all, and that students are participating in learning activities.

Ideally you will have experience or qualifications in teaching or childhood development. You will bring your energy and enthusiasm for education to the role. This role will appeal to you if you want to support local children to develop academically and socially.
You will be working in a supportive and inclusive team of staff and volunteers. There are opportunities for all volunteers to participate in professional and personal development activities.
