Uniting AgeWell Social Connections Program keeps people connected to the community to support them to live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love.

Personable and engaging volunteer sought to assist in the facilitation of a social support lunch outing that meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month in the Monash and Whitehorse area. The group provides participants a recreational and social outlet as well as the opportunity to meet others in their local community.

The role will require you to draw on your group facilitation skills while supporting people to build valuable connections and enjoy group activities as part of their social goals. The selected applicant will have effective communication skills and demonstrate confidence to facilitate and support group discussion and participation.

Reimbursement offered for the cost of lunch.

As a valued member of the Social Support Team, you will have access to ongoing training and development, opportunities to meet new people and develop new skills. You will have support from a dedicated volunteer coordinator who will assist you throughout your volunteer journey.
