Mater Volunteers is currently seeking dedicated volunteers to join our Hands and Feet Massage program.

Hands and Feet Massage volunteers provide companionship and relaxation to patients across Mater Mothers’ Hospitals, Mater Hospital Brisbane, Mater Private Hospital and Mater Cancer Care.

The Foot Massage program operates Monday – Friday. Shifts are 9am-1pm. Volunteers must be able to commit to the same shift weekly for a minimum period of 4 months.

Some of our current vacant shifts provide services in specialised areas such as our Mothers' hospitals and intensive care units which require an understanding of these settings. If this sounds like you contact us today!

All Mater Volunteers receive on boarding and training to ensure you are confident in your role. Massage experience is not necessary.

It is a requirement that you are and remain fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please note proof of vaccination (MyGov Medicare Vaccination Certificate or Medical Certificate) will be required as a pre commencement requirement.
