Helping Hand Mawson Lakes is seeking Social Support Assistants to join the Volunteer team. Your role will be to encourage residents to try new activities, restart an old hobby, play a game of cards or chess, or even simply have a great conversation.

Ideally suited for someone who would like to create opportunities for residents to flourish, you will be supporting our Lifestyles team and be part of a comfortable and welcoming home environment. All our homes are committed to COVID-19 safety protocols.

Requirement: Empathy, understanding and awareness of the needs of people with disabilities, dementia and/or ageing issues or willingness to learn.
