Meals on Wheels (Ku-ring-gai and Hornsby) is looking for a volunteer marketing coordinator to help develop and implement a marketing plan and improve brand awareness and engagement across their social media channels.

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To assist Meals on Wheels (Ku-Ring-Gai Hornsby) with prioritising, planning and implementing marketing strategies suitable for a small not-for-profit.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES: • Contribute to marketing workshops, in conjunction with key staff, to develop a marketing plan • Contribute to prioritising initiatives that represent best use of resources. • Seek opportunities for free publicity/PR • Collect suitable stories, general content, photography and videos • Share posts from Meals on Wheels NSW social media channels

EXPECTATIONS & QUALITIES: • Marketing and social media skills & experience • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work independently or as part of a team • Committed to workers health & safety and its application to the workplace • A Federal Police Check must be undertaken prior to commencement of duties. • An average 2-3 hour weekly commitment

Prefer local resident in Hornsby or Ku-ring-gai area.
