Calvary Flora McDonald is seeking volunteers who have a passion for improving the lives of elderly people living in residential aged care, and can experience social isolation. If you enjoy chatting and generally engaging socially with people we would like to chat with you. During your visit we are requiring you to assist our Catering staff and record menu selections for residents’ meals. You will be provided with induction, training and on-going support, and be a valued member of our volunteer team. All volunteers require a police clearance (paid by employer) for the purposes of Aged Care, which will be facilitated by Calvary, and evidence of vaccination against influenza and covid. If you have 2 – 5 hours to offer on any day of the week we would love to hear from you. In return we can offer a rewarding opportunity to volunteer in a caring and happy environment.
