We are seeking Mums and Dads who have had a premature or sick baby and are willing to be part of a team that runs support Facebook groups providing assistance and a compassionate ear to other families with premature or sick babies.

The families in our closed Facebook support groups are either currently in hospital/NICU/Special Care with their little ones or have just arrived home with their babies. Our Peer Support groups provide these families with much needed encouragement, care, and support during this difficult time.

Our Facebook Groups run on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.45am-1.00pm AEST and our dad's group runs on Wednesday nights from 7.45pm - 10pm. As a Volunteer you will be responding to families via a live Facebook chat by typing responses to their comments and questions. It is best that you are child free in this time and are able to commit weekly (preferred) or fortnightly.

You will need to agree to undertake a National Police Check, have a current WWC or willing to obtain a WWC and there will also be a requirement to complete training prior to your engagement.

To do this role you will need to have had a premature or sick baby of your own and be 12 months on from your experience. Preferably your baby is now aged between 1-10 years old.
