This role will require the volunteer to: Support the client(s) to actively participate in the Dinner Group. Support the client(s) with tasks such as reading the menu. Greeting clients/group members at the venue. Orientating clients/group members to the venue and amenities. Provide support to clients/group members to order meal/drinks. Support the clients/group members to access transport such as taxi. Communicate effectively with clients to understand and respond to their needs. Provide support to the Dinner Group Leader who also a volunteer. The skills required by the volunteer: Attention to detail Excellent communication skills Interpersonal skills Teamwork Visual translation skills Ability to work with people who are blind or have low vision
