Volunteers will give support to visitors in making they experience enjoyable and safe and directing them to the activities available at the centre. The following activities on the day include dip-netting, games, jumping castle, stories, craft, science activities, bird hunt, guided walks etc.Volunteers will work to help families have an enjoyable experience.

Volunteers may be asked to help with dip-netting (instructions provided), supervise craft or games, direct visitors to activities, welcome visitors, hand out maps, insect repellent and sunscreen. If you know how to do face painting for children it will be highly appreciated!

The Hunter Wetlands Centre Australia is a vibrant wetland ecosystem bursting with life. The site is regarded as a wetland of national and international importance and the centre enjoys a growing reputation for excellence in wetland conservation, education and ecotourism.

By Volunteering with us you have the chance to enjoy the peaceful environment we provide plus helping the organisation raise money with the event and allow it to continue operating and caring for the people and nature that the Wetland's constitutes.
