The Glandore Community Centre playgroup, Active Kids Playgroup, meets on Wednesdays from 9:30am - 11:30am.

The Active Kids Playgroup needs a volunteer/parent to assist with running the group.

This position is ideal for a creative person who enjoys being around children & connecting with parents.

The role will require setting up and packing down equipment, planning weekly activities/theme days and to encourage parents to be involved in the class's activities.

It is a great way to connect with our community and is also a service that is extremely valued by those who attend.

Although currently held at the time mentioned above, this can be negotiated to fit the right volunteer.

Applicants must undertake the required DHS clearances as per the City of Marion's Volunteer Policy and to ensure a successful outcome for both the community and the volunteer, a 3 month review will be held to make sure you have found the right role to call home.

You will also need to have or complete the Child Safe Environments course.
