Port Botany Foreshore Restoration: (next event Thurs 14th March)

Conservation Volunteers Australia
Logo for Conservation Volunteers Australia

In conjunction with Bayside Council and NSW Ports, we are undertaking the restoration of Sir Joseph Banks Park, a haven for nature enthusiasts along the Botany Foreshore. This area serves as a crucial urban sanctuary for rarely observed native flora and fauna, as well as the wider community! Historically, the park has faced significant environmental degradation, so we are here to give it a helping hand. The tasks ahead are diverse and may include removing weeds, planting native species, constructing nest boxes, litter collection or wildlife monitoring. Proudly supported by NSW Ports.

Upcoming events: Thurs 14th March (foreshore restoration) Tues 9th April (foreshore restoration)
