Key responsibilities of the board as a group:

• establish a governance framework, including a compliance framework to ensure the organisation meets its obligations

• advise and set the strategic direction to help the organisation achieve its purpose oversee financial performance of the organisation

• oversee a risk management strategy and risk management performance

• play an active role in building a culture of integrity by modelling the behaviours based on the public sector values and standards

• oversee the performance and remuneration of the organisation head operate within its statutory powers and policies

• oversee the occupational health and safety of the organisation manage stakeholders

RiverTracks was first inspired by the successful BackTrack program based in Armidale has been established by a group of Tweed Valley youth workers and community members. RiverTracks offers a life-line by helping them build skills that will lead them towards employment and achieving their life goals. Our program runs Monday and Tuesday with young men and boys in the Murwillumbah area aged 12 and over.
