As an Arts Group Volunteer, you will guide a weekly art group for older residents living with dementia. Share your creative and artistic passion as you assist people to create their own pieces. Your enthusiasm and patience will provide residents with a sense of personal growth and achievement and help build relationships and encourage participation.

We’ll provide all the materials together with suggestions for suitable weekly activities.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.
