Some common activities include:
Reminisce about work days
Have a chat to the fellas about hobbies and travel
Instigate “hands on” work activities for the men
Walking and pottering in the garden
Garden games and indoor activities (table tennis, quoits, card games etc)
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare
