An enthusiasm for gardening and a love of growing sensory plants, and/or a willingness to love succulents and potting them in unique pots for sale are what provides a diverse role for volunteers at the community garden in Eastwood. We require volunteers to maintain and develop our garden on a regular basis adding to the diversity and uniqueness of Mairi's Garden.

Volunteers are required to work with others and in a team.

If you would like to take on a new project we are launching our 'Grow Free' initiative in May this year. If you would like to be involved in helping people setup their gardens, organise the sharing cart where people can share their surplus, spreading the word and love through community, support and cook meals in our programs, and promoting good health and abundance in the community we need your help.

An enthusiasm for gardening, a knowledge of flowers, propagation and garden bed design would be an advantage together with a willingness to work in a team.
