Relay for Life is a chance for the Manningham community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and to raise money to help save more lives. Join the thousands of Australians who take part in Cancer Council’s Relay For Life each year in the fight against cancer.

Organised by passionate, local volunteers, and supported by Cancer Council Victoria, each Relay event is an experience that will stay with you forever. We host activities designed to celebrate cancer Survivors and recognise their Carers. We honour those we’ve lost, and we continue to raise funds to support people affected by cancer, fund research and improve cancer prevention.

We’re looking for ‘On the day Event Volunteers’ to help us out in the following areas:

• Helping out on Registration desk/merchandise desk • Helping on the gate – directing cars where to go • Helpers to set up/pack up at the event • Helping with activities and entertainment • Helping out with any other tasks that may arise as the event progresses
