McQuoin Park Leisure and Wellness Hub is run by Catholic Healthcare. It provides a range of programs for the benefit of older residents living in the onsite Retirement Apartments as well as for members of the local community.

McQuoin Park Book Club is a new social activity which will be held at the Hub. We are seeking a Volunteer Leader who can lead the formation of the Book Club, including promotions, conducting the group, leading decisions in book selection, leading discussions of the books.

Requirements this role:

• A love of reading, discussion and social interaction

• Experience in leading a Book Club group (ideally)

• Experience in attending a Book Club

• Possibly some additional time outside of meeting to assist with promotion and consider book choices

• Full Covid Vaccination and Flu Vaccination (from June 2022)

• Police Check (Catholic Healthcare will pay costs and assist you with application)

You will be supported in this role by Catholic Healthcare staff.
