Duties and responsibilities Tutors are required to provide one hour (minimum) of tutoring support per week over a 20-week program. Tutors act as an academic coach and positive role model to primary and secondary school aged students. They work with young people to develop their skills and understanding in Math, English, Science and Humanities.

While during school holiday time, tutors do not teach, they are trained to guide and facilitate learning, encourage higher order thinking and study skills.

Skills and experience Applicants should demonstrate: • Demonstrated experience or ability to provide sound academic learning support • Identification with the values of our program and experience or interest in working with young people • Strong interpersonal, organisation and communication skills • A willingness to undergo a National Police check
