Teamwork and referrals

• Identify, respond and support vulnerable individuals
• Work collaboratively within a team to achieve best response outcomes for people requiring assistance

Effectively respond to Emergencies

• Assist the Youth Street Teams – Team Leader and volunteers to call emergency services when required.
• *Provide basic First Aid support, as appropriate and within recognised skillset
• Accurately record any incidents as directed by Street Teams – Team Leader and Volunteer Coordinator

Stakeholders & Partnerships

• Work in partnership with all Stakeholders, including Police and emergency services, to assist vulnerable people who have been referred for assistance

Contacting support networks

• Contact families and friends, and/or other support networks as required

Transport

• Facilitate safe transport home
• Support the Street Teams Coordinator/driver
• Answer phones calls professionally from Police referrals, Street Team leaders (Street Team members)

Qualifications and experience requirements for the Role

• ·Experience in relevant field highly regarded
• ·First Aid certificate highly regarded

Mandatory requirements of the Role

• Fully complete the TSA mission volunteer induction and registration process
• Complete TSA Mandatory training requirements
• Complete integrity checks as required by TSA, TSA is a childsafe workplace
