Within our warehouse we have a workshop where electrical items are tagged and tested for our shop floor, furniture items are repaired and items that cannot be sold are separated for scrap value. These functions are performed by a group of dedicated volunteers

All of our scrap metal is separated into categories, for example, brass, copper, aluminum, steel etc. The scrap metal is then sold to Scrap Metal Dealers.

We are seeking the services of someone who has a good understanding of all types of metals who can clearly allocate each item into their respective bins. A workshop/mechanical/warehouse background would suit this role.

Connected Inc wishes to maximise our full potential in recycling and upcycling of all donated items that cannot be sold, and you would play a role in achieving this goal. A Supervisory role would also potentially be introduced to the right person.

Other general duties in assisting in the workshop and warehouse would be available when there is no backlog of items to be processed into scrap metal.

Our business hours are Tuesday to Saturday 9.00am to 2.45pm and ideally we are looking for someone who can devote two to four hours per day for at least three days per week between Tuesday to Friday.
