We are seeking to recruit volunteer to form part of a team, to support event staff at SCHF black tie gala events. SCHF has multiple black tie events all around Sydney in 2022 in grounds of exclusive harbourside homes to Grand ballrooms in 5 star hotels. These events are mainly invite only to the high society of Sydney. These important events raise millions of dollars every year to support SCHF and the great work of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network.

Volunteers who express interest will be interviewed by phone and must sign up for an interview using a link that will be supplied to you by email when you submit interest in this role on this website.

Volunteers must possess the following attributes:

• Be confident and friendly

• Ability to walk up to attendees and sell raffle tickets and collect pledges and silent auction bids

• Well presented

• Articulate

MUST be available for a Zoom briefing prior to an event

Dress code for the events will be:

• For women, please wear a black cocktail dress to the knees (not too revealing please). * For men, please wear a black suit, white shirt, and black tie.

Overview of key event details: The volunteers roles could be:

• Table hosting

• Spotting live auction and pledging bids for auctioneer

• Taking payments for auctions and pledges

• Raffle ticket sales

• Use of SCHF iPad

All volunteers must have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination, in order to participate in volunteering activities. Volunteers must adhere to the venue procedures at the time of volunteering, which include check-ins via the Service NSW. We will also require sighting your vaccination certificate upon arrival at your volunteer activity.
