Area Coordinator - Coastal South
POOPS (Pets of Older Persons) WA IncTasks of the position • Record keeping • Welcome and induct new volunteers - we do this face to face (unless restrictions apply) • Process new client referrals • Promote new clients to our volunteers using a Mailchimp newsletter • Arrange contact between volunteer and client • Update records as needed - We use a program called Airtable • Maintain email contact with volunteers - We use the gmail app for email • Respond to queries from clients and volunteers in your area. • Attend Coordinator’s Meeting twice yearly
You will have help from your Welcome Officers who meet and onboard the client, and a Deputy Coordinator can be recruited if you would like further admin assistance. You will have the ongoing support of the Operations Manager, our team of Area Coordinators across Perth and the wider organisation.
The Coastal South area currently has a client base of 75 and a volunteer team of 80. The area is, geographically, the coastal corridor of Kwinana/Rockingham, down to Halls Head/Mandurah. The role would suit a person who is located in this area.
