Position Overview: We have an exciting opportunity for a number of volunteers to support our administrative functions in our Frances St Office, Tweed Heads. You will be making a real difference in our communities and supporting us to address complex social issues to create real change for local families in areas of Homelessness, Disability Support, Mental Health, Parenting, Youth and Family Support.

As Administration Assistant - Youth Programmes you will support our Youth and Families Team with general data entry for program reporting, printing, preparing program resources, filing and other general administrative tasks.

Professional Responsibilities: • Promote and share knowledge of TFC programs and services, direct referrals appropriately to staff member • Work in a manner that promotes respect and dignity of all participants • Adhere to the relevant standards, policies and procedures of The Family Centre including maintaining all aspect of Work Place Health and Safety • Promote and model TFC values, code of conduct and professional standards to all staff, volunteers and community members • Ensure environment is safe for volunteers, staff and community members • Report any identified risk or hazard to staff member • Contribute positively to TFC’s organisational culture • Submit accurate administrative records if relevant (e.g. out of pocket expense, travel reimbursement claim) • Submit volunteer time sheet, or assist with documenting attended volunteer hours.
