Improve the lives of senior citizens by spending just 1-2 days a week supporting our clients in recreational and social activities provided by Able Australia. Your punctuality, reliability, warmth and friendliness will help brighten our clients’ day. Their gratitude and smiles will be sure to brighten yours.

Duties include:

• Assisting with the transportation of clients on community outings.
• Assist with organising activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, games, music, social recreation, taking into account the needs and interests of individual members.
• To assist with the set-up and clean-up of resources.
• To assist with morning tea and lunch as required, i.e. setting tables and washing.
• To attend meetings and undertake training relevant to the role.

A Certificate III in Aged Care or similar (welfare, leisure and lifestyle, diversional therapy) would be an advantage but not essential. We will provide you with an induction, orientation and specific training.

Assistance will be provided with obtaining an NDIS Worker Screening.
