Saturday Program Leader
Cahoots
Do you want to be a role model to a young person?
As a program leader, you can make a difference in a young person's life. Cahoots participants come to our programs to develop their social skills, increase their independence, and have lots of fun! Cahoots services focus on the social integration aspects, therefore we have loads of fun and exciting activities such as going bowling, going to waterparks, going out to bounce, etc.
Volunteers are essential for the successful running of Cahoots programs for children and young people living with disabilities or other social barriers. Volunteers have the opportunity to work alongside and create relationships with our participants. Volunteers are there to support our participants to reach their goals, whether that be greater independence, improving social skills, or maintaining life-long friendships.
We run programs every Saturday from 10 am - 2 pm for our participants aged 5-17 and every Saturday from 4 pm - 8 pm for our 18+ participants. As a program leader, you will have all meals, entry to all activities, and a Cahoots t-shirt for free!
All volunteer leaders have the support of professional support workers and facilitators on all our programs and will receive guidance beforehand from the volunteer coordinator.
If you're looking for something fun to do or want to get some experience in the disability sector, then volunteering with Cahoots is perfect for you!
