WHO ARE WE?

The Sisterhood Empowerment Campaign Inc. is a women-led non-profit organisation based in Melbourne’s South East. We aim to unite, inspire and empower young women by providing services such as workshops and events that focuses on mental health and well-being. We've got so many ideas, programs and events to organise but not enough pair of hands. We're making a few changes and looking to expand our team. We're searching for talented and dedicated women who want to help us make a change and assist women in unleashing their full potential.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Are you ready to design for an organisation who wants to create change? You’ll be delivering artworks and graphics that market directly to our audience. You’ll be working under the direction of the Creative Director to formulate templates, layouts and designs to create the content we need for marketing. These will be passed on to the Social Media Manager to upload online.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Photographing on-site events, workshops and programs
  • Strategise photoshoot for events, programs and product marketing
  • Post-production work including photo editing to create final product
  • Tell stories through a photograph to show the impact our work has done in the community

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to respect and have awareness of guest’s privacy who do not wish to have their photo taken
  • Ability to visualise and strategize photoshoot for campaigns, product/service marketing
  • Ability to find ideal photoshoot locations that reflect the organisation’s mission and objective
  • Creative and artistic flair
  • Experience in Lightroom and Photoshop - highly desired
  • Experience in capturing empowering moments, photo touching and editing
  • Experience in using professional camera equipment including DSLR and lighting equipment etc.
  • Full driver’s license to travel to on-site events
  • Experience in videography is desired (not essential) to back-up videographer when needed (unless you are applying for the position of both)

IMPORTANT BEFORE APPLYING:

  • This is a voluntary position
  • Each position has a minimum commitment level of 2-3 hours a week
  • We will use a project management tool to track KPI and keep all members up to date
  • Most of our events and programs will be held in Cranbourne West
  • On-site committee are required proof of double vaccinations
  • Attendance to monthly meetings are encouraged by optional (either on-site or online)
