Lego Brick Build Event Volunteer - 7 and 8 May - Olympic Park - # 174739

Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation

An enormous and amazing display created from LEGO® bricks is coming to Sydney. A family event that is suitable for all ages. This event will be raising money for the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation.

  • Hundreds of exhibits on display, many never seen before

  • Speak to the builders for insider tips and stories of their hobby

  • Children’s build area

  • Contribute to the giant mosaic build

  • Remote control race cars

  • A children’s brick-built competition with prizes to be won

  • Brick play area with graffiti wall

  • Storm Troopers, Ewok’s and Mandalorian characters

  • Cafe and lunch shops available on site

  • Plenty of room – The venue will comply with the NSW Health Covid Plan.

We need amazing volunteers to assist with 4 main volunteer roles:

1) Manage a mosaic build - no technical skill required, to sorting larger parts and guiding people

2) Manage remote control lego vehicles - no technical skill, just getting cars unstuck and managing a queue

3) Supervising the play brick areas, mainly picking up loose elements from the floor

4) Selling raffle tickets - we have a POS device to collect this.

5) Volunteer with special needs experience (personally or professionally) for each area to support volunteers

All volunteers must have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination, in order to participate in volunteering activities. Volunteers must adhere to the venue procedures at the time of volunteering, which include check-ins via the Service NSW. We will also require sighting your vaccination certificate upon arrival at your volunteer activity.
