There are numerous volunteering possibilities outdoors in this garden depending on your expertise and interest.

We particularly need people to assist with: • Lawn mowing • Brush cutting • Green waste removal • Simple plumbing repairs, e.g. leaky taps, cleaning out garden pits • Simple building repairs • Assisting with event preparation e.g. putting up temporary gazebo. • Painting or • Fence repairs

The organisation ensures volunteers are given training and support in their chosen area of work. All protective gear and tools are provided and we have robust self-propelled lawn mower, brush cutter and well stocked tool shed. We also need volunteers who have a vehicle with a tow bar to take our trailer to the tip about once a month. We don’t expect one person to be able to do all of these tasks so please let us know what interests you.

The ongoing support and contribution from volunteers are highly valued, and you’ll be part of a vibrant volunteer garden team, working alongside the Garden Curator on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. We look forward to meeting you to discuss volunteering opportunities.
