This volunteer opportunity will help to assist a gentleman to make new friends within his local community.

The role would be a unique fit around the gentleman’s interests which include walking, coffee and/or beer, ten pin bowling and music. There is however the potential to introduce new interests and activities over time after building trust and rapport.

The first 6-8 weeks volunteering would be alongside a support worker to establish trust and rapport with the gentleman and before identifying and coordinating additional social activities.

An ideal volunteer would be a fellow gentleman that would like to go to the local club and enjoy a lunch or two and to go for walks in and around Brisbane.

You would be working one on one with the gentleman, living independently in Carina.
