By volunteering as an Emergency Relief Interviewer you have the opportunity to interview clients and assist them to access a range of supports they require to help them navigate their way to a better place in their lives.

Support to clients is provided in the form of material goods and financial assistance through food, vouchers and part payments of electricity, utility or phone bills, together with community information and/or referrals to services.

How you can help:

By volunteering with us you have the opportunity to be part of a small team and assist with:

  • Greeting and interviewing clients to assess their eligibility for assistance
  • Advocating on behalf of clients and referring them to other services
  • Assist in managing stock levels in the food pantry and our linen supplies

Multiple volunteer roles available Monday to Friday in our Blair Athol and Barossa offices.
