The key function of the Office Assistant is to provide administrative support to the Secretary/Manager.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Reception – All inward & outward enquiries by phone, email or in person are promptly attended to in a professional manner and recorded appropriately.

Liaise with suppliers, visitors, stakeholders, volunteers and members.

Document filing (soft & hard copies).

Ordering office supplies & consumables.

Liaise with & accompany prospective hall hirers/site holders on grounds and facilities tour.

Collaborate and assist Management and Youth Committee marketing the annual Mudgeeraba Show.

Maintain strict confidentiality of all information and intellectual property of the Mudgeeraba Show Society Inc at all times.

Ensure Compliance with all Workplace Health & Safety policies and Staff, Contractors and Volunteers Handbook (Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies Inc).

Any tasks allocated/delegated by the Secretary/Manager.

Key Competencies:

Current First Aid Certificate (CPR)

Excellent computer literacy

Ability to work autonomously

Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
