Responsibilities

  • Contribute to event strategies to achieve fundraising targets
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor events team
  • Monitor event goals and ensure progress goals are met
  • Liaise/collaborate with, but not limited, social media, public relations, website, fundraising and/or volunteer coordinators to fulfil event goals
  • Delegate tasks to events team and provide assistance weekly
  • Identify any recruitment gaps and advise Volunteer Coordinators
  • Break Even Point and tracking analytics to achieve fundraising targets and taking action to ensure goals are met
  • Prepare event report for stakeholders following the event

Requirements

  • Previous experience in events, marketing, or fundraising an advantage
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on goals according to targets
  • Excellent multitasking and task prioritisation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Level headed, approachable, and professional
  • 8-10 hours per week commitment
  • Can volunteer virtually or in-person Newcastle or Sydney
