We are looking for kind, committed and positive people to join our team of 1:1 social support volunteers. This program is designed to support older people to reengage and reconnect with their community and to the things they love to do.

Thet was described as a positive and happy person,, with a good sense of humour. He has a passion for gardening. Thet would like a volunteer to visit him weekly for a walk, chat at home, or a drive within the city of Wyndham.

The volunteer must be able to speak Karenni, be available any weekday in the afternoon and have access to a car for community outings. To be successful in this role you will need to have good communications skills and the ability to work independently.

As a valued member of social support team you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, meet new people and develop new skills. You will have support from a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey. You will be volunteering to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice to make an impact in your community.
