The program 

Our Migration Support Program provides help and support to refugees, asylum seekers, immigration detainees and other people who are vulnerable as a result of migration. We do this through a range of migration programs that protect and uphold the health, dignity and wellbeing of vulnerable migrants.

The opportunity

The Pathways to Employment English Language Teacher Volunteer will support clients from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds who are facing barriers towards employment due to low levels of English.

The volunteer will work in a team to prepare and facilitate English for Work classes, as well as provide one on one support to clients to increase their English skills (reading, writing, speaking).

The impact

As Pathways to Employment  English Language Teacher Volunteer, you will help vulnerable clients with their English skills by facilitating English classes and providing one on one support. This will enable them to improve their English skills, gain job opportunities and provide a better future for themselves and their families.
