The program

The aim of the Connected Women Tasmania Program is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of socially isolated migrant women through improved connection and participation in Tasmania society.

The opportunity

This role suits someone over the age of 18 who is a good listener, supportive, understanding and welcoming, who can commit to 3 hours a fortnight. You will help to improve social connection and support participation of migrant women in the local community, experience and learn about diverse cultures. 

The impact

As part of the Connected Women Tasmania Program, you will contribute to helping others in the community. You will meet new people and connect with diverse group of participants and make a positive impact in the lives of others. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support, and access to other opportunities within the organisation’s network.
