We are seeking a volunteer with a genuine interest in the elderly. The role will consist of conversing with residents, helping with art & crafts, reading, assist with bus outings. We are seeking someone to volunteer one day per week, Tuesday if the preference, for a minimum of 6 months. Group activities and events - Gathering or escorting residents to and from the activity venue.
a. Able to facilitate small group activities like Scrabble or any board games. Assist with setting up and tidy up during events.

b. Bus Outings - use judgement to ensure the residents attending the bus outing are appropriately dressed for the weather. Assist staff during boarding and disembarking from the Lifestyle bus. Assist with the prep of hot or cold drinks for residents under the supervision of the staff.
