The Community Visitors Scheme coordinates volunteers to visit people who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and a regular visit from a volunteer.

We are seeking a female volunteer who would enjoy visiting a care recipient within their own home in Pomona. The care recipient was born in Germany, enjoys reading, chatting and pottering in the gardening. The volutneer will need to have a strong personality and be able to hold an educated conversation. Your hours can vary from 1 hour per fortnight upwards with times and days arranged to suit yourself and the recipient.
