St Joseph Affordable Homes is looking for volunteer mentors to support our new young apprentices. You may know someone, or be interested yourself. You do not need any prior experience.

The Volunteer Mentor Program is an initiative to give young people within the St Joseph Affordable Homes Apprenticeship program an increased avenue of personalised support to enhance and develop the opportunities provided through Build Up Tassie and St Joseph Affordable Homes . Contact between mentors and apprentices varies and will be through a range of face-face and phone contacts. The time of commitment changes from apprentice to apprentice and also, depends on what is going on in their lives. It has worked out an average of 1 hour a fortnight - with some weeks being an sms check in message and other weeks a catch up on the phone or over coffee.

We will be providing a short training 1 ½ hours on February 9th – 11 – 12:30 at Tower Rd, New Town.

If you are interested, please complete email Rachael Johnston for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
