Reception / Shop Assistant
Chenrezig Institute- Open and close Reception area, vacuum carpet, dust shelves, empty bins and ensure the area is tidy and free from safety hazards.
- Customer service including face-to-face, online and telephone interactions.
- Retail point-of-sale, cash and eftpos, reconciliation of transactions.
- Book accommodation, meals, and courses for prospective visitors.
- Create customer invoices, attendee lists and financial reports from the online system.
- Providing information to visitors including content of programme, daily events, site directions (eg: library details including membership), meal and accommodation information.
- Assist with unpacking new stock and restock shelf items as required.
- Provide basic explanations of Dharma items, Holy Objects, books and other shop items.
- Answer questions about Chenrezig Institute including basic history and general lay-out.
- Report any safety, maintenance or merchandise issues to Supervisor or Centre Services Manager. (eg: light bulb replacements, damaged shop items, low stock).
