Get involved in Tuart Place’s Community lunch for participants. Tuart Place is a NFP that provides support, counselling, support groups, one-on-one help with IT and mobile phones, a drop-in service, social events and other support for older adults who have been in out of home care during their childhoods.

If you enjoy being around people, serving food and taking part in a delicious, locally made Community lunch we would invite you to join us on Monday and/or Wednesday at 11am to assist in setting up, serving lunch and packing the dishwasher after lunch. All our volunteers join us for lunch as well, we would appreciate any volunteers who are able to join in, help out and eat lunch with us on Mondays and/or Wednesdays.

Mondays and Wednesdays are busy days at Tuart Place and helping at lunch provides you with a fantastic sense of community.It is a lovely and popular lunch, and is an opportunity for our participants to catch up with friends and enjoy a meal together – we would love you to become part of our community.
