Kevin is a friendly and polite gentleman who lives alone with his beloved, elderly dog. Kevin would love to have a volunteer friend to chat with, go for coffee, go to a movie and have some outings in the community. He enjoys history, movies, and making things. Volunteers reduce loneliness and isolation by visiting for an hour or two weekly or fortnightly to provide friendship and companionship. Volunteers need to be reliable, patient, friendly, warm and empathic. Volunteers will be guided by our friendly staff to complete several screening steps including an online information session, an interview, police check and referee checks.
