'URGENT' Housekeeping Assistant

Daily tasks assigned by Housekeeping Team leader could include:

  1. Removing bed linen, cleaning bed and remaking with clean linen.
  2. Cleaning guest rooms on departure by following the checklist for tasks to undertake in each room (various types of accommodation), including vacuuming, dusting, and washing windows and doors.
  3. Preparing rooms for next guest by following the checklist.
  4. Washing bed linen and towels, dry by hanging outdoors if weather permits, on-site dryer available if needed.
  5. Folding laundry items and placing in correct shelving space in storeroom.
  6. Cleaning toilets, shower alcoves and wash basins. Sweeping and washing bathroom floors, cleaning bathroom mirrors.
  7. Wellbeing Centre requires cleaning and preparation before booked activities. Tasks may include sweeping and mopping the floor, cleaning toilets and showers, cleaning windows, cleaning and restocking kitchenette.
