Uniting Social Support Program keeps people connected to the community to support them live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love. Whatever ‘living life to the fullest” looks like for them, we support them to make it happen.

Kelvin* describes himself as a very chatty and outgoing person who sometimes has trouble listening. His hobbies include photography, gardening, animals, art and cooking. He would prefer a mature male volunteer with access to a car who'd be willing to take him out.

A typical visit might include a visit to a gallery or garden or going to a cafe for coffee and a chat. Kelvin* is interested in fortnightly visits during the week.

As a valued member of the social support team, you will have access to. ongoing training and development opportunities, the chance to meet new people and develop new skills, the support of a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey.
