Uniting Social Support Program keeps people connected to the community to support them live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love. Whatever ‘living life to the fullest” looks like for them, we support them to make it happen.
Lucia* describes herself as a person who loves to laugh. She is outgoing and friendly, loves colouring, watching documentaries and listening to music, reading and doing word searches. In the past she loved to crochet.
Lucia is looking for volunteer to share home visits to enjoy a chat over refreshments. She would prefer a mature female volunteer. Lucia* is available Tuesdays or Thursdays.
As a valued member of the social support team, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, the chance to meet new people and develop new skills, and the support of a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey. You will be volunteering to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice to make an impact in your community. *Participants name has been altered to maintain her privacy. Interested?
